Jenna Thompson
Jenna’s journey with yoga began in college in San Diego when her close friend introduced her to a local Power Yoga studio. She instantly felt a deep connection to the practice and her life has been changed ever since! Initially the appeal of yoga was mainly as a form of exercise, however it quickly evolved to a deep exploration of the mental and spiritual benefits the dynamic practice has to offer. After moving back to her hometown of Mammoth Lakes in 2013 her personal practice expanded as she was exposed to new styles of yoga and a variety of inspirational teachers. The diversity of the teaching styles available in Mammoth helped her to develop a more well-rounded personal practice and a heightened appreciation for the complexity of yoga. Jenna completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification with CorePower Yoga in the Spring of 2016 and is excited to be a part of the growing yoga community in Mammoth. In class she focuses on creating a fun & energetic environment as well as a physically challenging class where students can safely discover new layers to their personal practice.
